Welcome to our blog

Welcome!

Hello, my name is Sarah!

My spouse, Chris, is running for mayor of the City of Clinton, Oklahoma. We are so glad you have found your way to this space.

I was born and raised in Clinton. I have served as both an early childhood educator and registered nurse in this community. I am the mother of six. I have an invested interest in this community.

I am excited for you to get to know Chris. Once you do, will find his optimism is contagious. He knows Clinton is meant for greater things.

Join me here each week along the campaign trail as we navigate the important conversations Clinton citizens want to have.

In doing so, we hope you will have a fuller picture of who you want to be mayor of this city come November. Chris truly believes that by putting community first, there will be progress for all.

Just as with any new project, the ideas and directions that can be taken swirl. Sometimes it’s difficult to decide what road to choose.

It has always been Chris’ determination to unite all walks of life under a common theme. Community will be a focus if he is mayor. Chris is a firm believer that we don’t all have to think alike to advocate for the basic things all Clinton citizens want to see happen after the polls close in November.

Working with local committees and groups to have their ideas heard and realized is important to Chris. I know this from watching him in this community over the past five years. His optimism is infectious.

Working with Future Leaders of Western Oklahoma (FLOW), a local group led by Cadence Richeson, this week was a highlight.

As a team with a common goal, FLOW has begun to revitalize the volleyball courts near the swimming pool complex. Like Chris, this group understands that a community of young families needs free access to safe and maintained municipal parks.

If you would like to get involved with FLOW you can find them on Facebook at here. Keep following along here each week as Chris checks in with what’s going on in Clinton.
